Conquer the ruined body and mind
by M1zushiBai Ling often had the misconception that Izsu Paraiso might be a beta. This old emperor believed in strict discipline and self-discipline, taking rationality to the extreme and resembled a meticulously crafted legal code.
The Tyrant couldn’t wield power as skillfully as that merman.
He was more like a dog chained to a throne, restless and repressed, constantly revealing the inherent flaws of an alpha—
“Listen up, you concubines! I am your Great King. Tonight, I am hosting a hunting event, and you are all honored to participate… yes, as our prey. Scream as loud as you can!”
The broadcast had barely faded when the power went out, plunging the entire dormitory area into darkness.
The screams of omegas shattered the tranquility of the night; without heating, they simply couldn’t withstand the sub-zero temperatures of -20ºC.
Bai Ling indifferently sat up, grabbed a pair of trousers from the bed and put them on.
Regardless of what happens next, the most urgent task is to acquire weapons, and the fastest way is…
“These bastards, how am I supposed to stick my hands out of bed and read novels if they turn off the heat?” Sava rubbed his messy hair and reluctantly climbed down the ladder. “Hey, you stinky bird, what are you doing squatting by the door… why are you holding a fruit knife?”
Sava was about to chuckle when Bai Ling suddenly opened the door and pounced on the back of the R-5 robot, which was on routine patrol, with lightning speed.
The man grabbed the robot’s shoulder, raised his hand high, and struck down with force. Sparks flew from the wires, and the joint snapped instantly. He then dissected the robot’s right arm in a second with the speed of a butcher, and with reflexes faster than any machine, he perfectly retreated into the doorway.
Sava was shocked as he watched him dismantle the arm like peeling an onion, quickly reassembling it into a strangely shaped weapon that could barely be identified as a machine gun, using its internal gun barrel.
“This works?!” Sava was bewildered for a couple of seconds, then immediately crossed his arms and grumbled, “This unauthorized modification is unsafe. What if you blow yourself up before you even fire the gun—”
He suddenly stopped talking because Bai Ling pointed a gun at his head with a blank expression.
Sava’s pupils contracted, and with a loud trigger click, the bullet shot out of the muzzle, reflected in his retinas, grazed his cheek, and instantly struck the alpha outside the window behind him.
“Damn, you better watch out, Tiger.”
Female peregrine falcons were also known colloquially as “duck tigers”.
Sava made a sarcastic remark, then peeked out and saw that the self-important alpha who thought he could climb the wall had already disappeared into the snowstorm.
Upon hearing the word “Tiger,” Bai Ling tilted his head, cocked his gun with a swift click, and a barely perceptible hint of smugness appeared on his thin lips.
It’s pretty good to get the approval of your arch-rival.
A chaotic commotion arose in the corridor as more alphas came from the stairwell.
Bai Ling’s expression was stern. “Get ready, we’re going to break out.”
“Wait.” In the dim light, a can traced a beautiful parabola and was instinctively caught by Bai Ling.
Sava’s orange-red eyes glowed faintly in the darkness. “Who knows how toxic those alphas outside are? Your condition is unstable, so you’d better bring some alpha hormones.”
Bai Ling put the medicine bottle into his pocket and raised his gun slightly, “Thank you.”
“No need to thank me, there’s nothing to thank me for…” Sava was used to bullying the strong and fearing the weak. If you treat him well, he’d feel embarrassed.
Sava straightened his posture, hoisted North onto his shoulder, and followed Bai Ling out of the corridor to the public lounge on their floor.
North, hanging upside down behind Sava, looked behind him and cried out in terror, “They have ten thousand men!”
Sava: “No problem, I’ll surround them all by myself in a bit.”
North shouted again, “They have night vision goggles, they’re cheating!”
Bai Ling: “I also have night vision goggles, and they’re high-definition.”
North looked down and searched: “Where?”
Bai Ling reached out and pulled the furious Sava from the side: “Little Tyrant of the Night, it’s your turn to step in.”
As the saying goes, it’s better to be the head of a chicken than the tail of a phoenix; it’s better to run around the flock than to be a gun mount for other birds. Unfortunately, the tradition of the old eagle-owl family was destined to be broken. The dignified Young Master Sava ultimately became a human infrared sight.
Sava growled while reporting using his night vision ability:
“At the three o’clock position, there are four people, each 1.8 meters tall, 70 meters away, moving to the left front.”
Bai Ling rested the gun on Sawa’s shoulder and, relying on his experience, precisely adjusted the firing angle.
In the darkness of the distance, bullets, imbued with powerful potential energy, flew past alphas with horrified gazes, striking their knees like a storm.
Not a single bullet was wasted; the advancing alphas collapsed one after another like sand walls being rammed.
An aristocrat shouted in fright, “There’s an ambush over at the lounge! Retreat quickly!”
Major General Gram kicked the aristocrat to the ground and sneered:
“What are you yelling about? There’s only one raptor in here. How can it scare you bunch of trash like this?”
The aristocrat dusted himself off, got up, and offered a casual compliment:
“Hehe, of course we can’t compare to you, Major General. You even dared to control someone as fierce as ‘Duck Tiger.’ You are truly the top alpha in the military…”
Before he could finish speaking, he saw the sinister look in Gram’s eyes, and his face turned pale with fright. He immediately slapped himself twice in front of him, and then silently retreated to the back.
The other nobles cast disdainful glances at him.
Everyone knows that the peregrine omega is a taboo subject for Major General Gram. Bringing it up at this critical moment is practically suicide.
Gram squinted his bloodshot eyes and raised the scope:
“Go and bring all the R-5 robots in. Surround the lounge from the outside. I refuse to believe we can’t shoot this little female bird to pieces!”
“But we’re just playing around. Isn’t using sixty mechanical guards a bit too much…”
Gram turned his scarlet eyes away. “You dare disobey orders?”
The man immediately fell silent. Gram was His Majesty’s friend; no one dared disobey him. Otherwise, their fate would be as tragic as that omega’s—
He was imprisoned and secretly executed.
On the other side, the two raptors’ initial cooperation was getting better and better. One was a sniper, and the other was a corrector. They were both S-rank in strength and speed, and their night combat was even better as they moved around seamlessly.
The two of them, without prior agreement, gave each other high praise in their minds: This thing really does have great functionality…
It would be even better if it could be disassembled and installed on my mecha!
Bai Ling suddenly frowned: “What’s poking my stomach?”
Sava turned around impatiently: “You stinky bird, you’re pressing on my butt.”
Bai Ling flicked his gun back at his head and a thought flashed through his mind: Who on earth got this guy pregnant? How capable are they to eat this chicken butt?
“Birds, something bad has happened! Many little omegas have run out in their pajamas, all half-conscious from the cold, and some have been traumatized by the gunshots,” North reported anxiously as he ran out.
“Find a few nurses to provide stress relief to them,” Bai Ling thought, quickly recalling the terrain and route map.
“Behind the lounge, downstairs, is the maintenance room, which leads directly to the boiler room, where there is a heat source
“Okay, I’ll take them there right away.”
With North leading the way and Sava and Bai Ling covering the rear, for a moment, this grand retreat with weak “prey” counterattacks proceeded in an orderly manner.
Sava glanced at Bai Ling, who was calm and absorbed in the battle, and just then, Bai Ling also turned around and glanced back.
Their eyes met unintentionally across the crowd for a second. Bai Ling sneered, while Sava pouted.
Sava was unhappy: It’s fine to remove it and install it in the mecha.
Bai Ling scoffed: Being a co-pilot is absolutely not acceptable.
They looked at each other, both knowing what was going to happen: a fight was definitely on!
However, at that moment, countless figures glowing red appeared in their field of vision; these were the R-5 robots that were coming to reinforce the hunt.
There were so many that two people definitely couldn’t finish them all.
“These dam alpha dogs who resort to cheating when they can’t win!” Sava gritted his teeth and immediately shouted at North, “Let them in, quick!”
The little omegas rushed into the boiler room in a panic and worked together to push up the heavy steel door.
The axle wheel spun rapidly and as the gap in the door narrowed, their range of vision on the two omegas became increasingly limited. They cried out anxiously:
“Come in quickly, the door is about to close, we can’t stop it!”
Sava ducked in, and just as he was about to breathe a sigh of relief, he couldn’t find Bai Ling anywhere.
Turning around, he saw that the stubborn bird was flying against the flow, trying to buy them time and become the last line of defense!
Sava wanted to join him without a second thought, but Bai Ling turned back indifferently, his eyes filled with a breathtaking determination, and threatened:
“Retreat immediately and protect your territory, Lieutenant!”
Sava was stunned by his aura. His military-trained DNA kicked in, and he subconsciously wanted to answer, “Yes, sir!”
But in the fraction of a second it took him to open his mouth, BOOM—the door slammed shut.
Bai Ling’s thin figure disappeared completely behind the rusty steel plate.
…It’s over. That stinky bird is definitely going to die.
Sava gripped his gun with a blank face. He turned back. “Which one of you little wastes knows how to sing a ) is a somber song or lament expressing mourning or grief, such as may be appropriate for performance at a funeral. " footnote="false"]dirge? Give my brother a negative buff.”
A nightingale
weakly raised his hand. “I used to sing in the theater, does that count? But I don’t know any military songs…”
Sava shot him a cold glance. “Then learn.”
Tears welled up in the nightingale’s eyes. He wanted to say the man was mean, but he still plucked up his courage and gave a very non-standard military salute. “Okay, sir.”
Outside, Bai Ling fought savagely.
A pile of destroyed machine parts quickly accumulated at his feet, but gradually, his stamina began to fail.
He had barely rested at all since his second differentiation, running on fumes and large doses of alpha pheromone supplements. He had only lasted this long thanks to that phone call and…
The new battery Yu Chen had sent.
But under the high-power energy drain, the prosthesis’s charge was depleting. In another three to five minutes, he wouldn’t be able to move.
Bai Ling could hear the sneering laughter nearby. Those alphas were hiding behind the robots, and their nauseating pheromones filled the air as they shone high-beam flashlights all over him.
At one point, someone caught a glimpse of his weak, battered face and let out a gasp of delight. “This last one is top quality! Major General Gram, just your type!”
Another voice sneered, “What ‘top quality’ could possibly be in this place? If it were an eagle or a falcon, maybe it’d be worth playing with.”
Bai Ling froze as the blood iced in his veins. A massive wave of pain struck his nerves, crushing him in the darkness.
Major General Gram.
The stump of his right leg began to ache again, a deep, bone-scraping pain. He felt his insides twist and cramp. Hallucinations flickered before his eyes. He seemed to see himself huddled in a corner, his bony spine trembling…
Bai Ling only stood stunned for two seconds, but that was enough. A robot seized the opportunity and fired a shot, hitting the knee of his prosthesis.
Components flew everywhere, and shards scattered.
Bai Ling dug his nails into his palm to force himself awake. He dragged his damaged leg and struggled behind a pillar. His frayed nerves were on the verge of snapping. He couldn’t even tell where he hurt anymore. Just the thought of that scum’s pheromones dispersed in the air made him sick with pain and nausea…
Trembling, thin fingers fumbled with the alpha pheromone supplement bottle. He grabbed a handful of pills and shoved them messily into his mouth.
Swallow. Force them down. Don’t let him affect you…
But he seemed to have forgotten how to swallow. He couldn’t get them down.
Suddenly, everything outside went silent, as if someone had hit pause on the farce.
Thump. Thump. Thump…
His eardrums throbbed chaotically. A piercing ringing filled his hearing. Amidst the chaos, a rhythmic, powerful tapping grew clearer and clearer. In his daze, he thought it was his own heartbeat, but he quickly realized—it was the heavy sound of a cane striking the marble floor, perfectly in time with his heartbeat.
Thump. Thump. Thump…
Bai Ling blinked his sore eyes and peeked out from behind the pillar.
All the attack robots had stopped. The arrogant alphas were now trembling like leaves, as if they had encountered their natural genetic predator. They stumbled, dazed, falling to their knees, foreheads pressed to the floor in prostration.
They kneeled, clearing a path, like the scene of Moses parting the Red Sea in the old myths.
At the end of the path, someone approached, carrying a lantern.
The entire space was quickly permeated by a faint, pervasive scent of rotting wood, forcefully driving out the scent of the other alphas. Bai Ling couldn’t help but take a deep breath, but his stomach immediately churned. That anxious, craving, rapidly fermenting emotion once again seized his broken body and mind.
With every step the person took closer, his addiction withdrawal grew more violent.
Bai Ling tried to lift the pill bottle to his lips, to get a few into his mouth, but his trembling wrist betrayed him. Clatter. The bottle slipped from his grasp, and the cheap pills scattered across the floor.
Once you’ve tasted the good stuff, you can never go back to substitutes…
The sole of a shoe crushed the pills, grinding them into powder as it walked over them until tapping of the cane stopped right in front of him.
Yu Chen’s large hand closed around his slim waist, pulling the frozen little bird into his embrace. His thumb and forefinger clamped onto Bai Ling’s cheeks. He lowered his frigid eyes and commanded with a tone tinged with impatience:
“Spit it out.”
Author has something to say:
He’s getting anxious, he’s getting anxious!
PS: Male Peregrine Falcons are called ” pigeon tigers ” because they can catch pigeons. Females are larger and stronger, called dug tigers, because they can take down larger prey like wild ducks. In nature, female raptors are stronger than males. If the male doesn’t work hard to provide for the family, the female might beat him up with her big wings (?).
But overall, they form strong pair bonds. Because raptors are strictly monogamous for life, the little male bird still needs to present prey to his wife every year to court her~
M1zushi: old fish is just busy aura-farming lol
if anyone has watched TBHX in my mind this scene develops like the one badass Queen entrance, where she freezes everyone
